Whether your dog is bought from a pet store or picked up from the roadside, it is important to deworm it regularly in the process of taking care of it. For puppies, adult dogs, and pregnant bitches, their deworming plans are not exactly the same. Dogs have these characteristics, and their bodies may have been "climbed up" long ago.

1. The abdomen is swollen and the body is thin

If your dog's abdomen is as big as a ball, but his body is very thin, looks malnourished, and his appetite suddenly becomes larger than before, it means that its body may have been crawled with insects. The insects absorb their nutrients in the body, so the dog will eat more and will not gain weight!

If you find that this is the case with the dog, it is best to deworm it immediately!

2. Whether the dog scratches the body and grinds the butt

The most obvious manifestation is whether the dog scratches the body frequently. If your dog often bites its fur, shakes its body, or even grinds its butt on the ground, then it is likely to have fleas, ticks, etc., so it is so itchy!

If you peel off its hair, there may be small black particles on the skin, which is actually the feces of parasites!

3. Mental depressed, lethargy

If the dog ruled out the causes of illness and is not an old dog, but is often mentally depressed and sleeps all day, then the dog is likely to have been infected with roundworms. Because the parasites in the dog's body absorb their nutrients to survive, if the dog does not have enough nutritional supply, it will cause mental depression and drowsiness.

Ascaris can also be transmitted to humans and can migrate to various tissues and organs, so you must do a good job of deworming for your dog!

4. The back is arched, and the walking is abnormal

The dog is not injured, but walking is abnormal, and will arch its back like a cat. If this happens to the dog, it has been a long time since the parasites were infected. When a dog has this symptoms, it means it is already in pain. It is best to take it to the hospital for treatment in time!

5. A healthy dog's gums should be pink. If your dog's gums are too white, it is likely that it is caused by anemia caused by hookworm infection. If the dog is already in anemia, it will be terrible. You must take it to the hospital for treatment in time. In severe cases, blood transfusions may be required!

After the dog is treated, it may still be malnourished. At this time, the pet owner should give it some nutrition and drink some goat milk powder to help the dog recover as soon as possible!

6. The dog's feces are sparse and rotten, and they are worm-like. Many poop shovelers will observe the dog's feces and judge the dog's health. If the dog has eggs or insects in its poop and is relatively sparse, it is certain that there are insects in its body. At this time, you must immediately deworm the dog to avoid getting worse and worse!
