We were worried and decided to go have a look the next day. We happened to meet an aunt who came here to look at the cats. We learned from her why the orange cat was in the sewer.

This cat is a stray cat in the park. It is usually very clean and has a docile and clingy temper. It is loved by everyone. People who come to the park will feed it some food. In addition, there is also a tabby cat (hereinafter referred to as Ahua) in the park. Although he is very big, he has a very docile temper. The two cats often play together inseparable. About a month ago, A-Hua suddenly disappeared. It turned out that A-Hua died in the sewer for some unknown reason. Now A-Ju basically stays beside A-Hua's body every day and does nothing else.

We tried to shine a flashlight on the situation in the sewer, and found that there was really a cat lying next to Ah Ju, but it seemed to have been dead for a long time, and the body was already rigor mortis.

Seeing that winter has entered and the weather is getting colder, Orange is still leaning closely next to Ah Hua's body. Ah Ju may feel that Ah Hua's body is cold, and may be worried that her friend will be frozen. In addition to leaning next to Ah Hua to keep her warm, it often rubs her cold body with its head, hoping to warm her with its own body temperature, but the other party still has no response, and Ah Ju keeps whining.

Auntie brought a makeshift nest made of cardboard boxes today, with cat food next to it, hoping that Aju could come over to warm herself up. But how can Ah Ju understand her aunt's kindness? The biting cold could not make it move at all. At this time, it may have forgotten hunger and cold, and still stayed motionless next to the body of its friend.

This is the life of a stray cat. A-Hua's health will deteriorate because of being hungry and in danger for a long time. I feel like I can understand Ah Ju’s feelings. The only friend who once relied on each other and grew up together has left. It was Ah Ju’s only good friend and spiritual support in life. At this time, it must have felt a huge sense of sadness and loneliness, which made it even more unable to accept the departure of its friend. Apart from guarding and crying silently, Ah Orange can do nothing, because at least being by its friend’s side is a comfort to it. Sometimes, I really feel that animals are more humane than people.

Although the previous friendship between the two cats was very touching, we must take Aju away from Ahua as soon as possible, because being with a decaying corpse is a very dangerous behavior in itself, and there are piles of garbage in the abandoned sewers and poor ventilation. It is likely to cause harm to the little one's health. It's time for Ah Ju to truly say goodbye to her friends!

We decided to remove A-Hua’s body first. At the beginning, A-Hua was guarding A-Hua and wouldn’t let us get close. We decided to wait for a while. Unexpectedly, after a while, A-Hua’s body suddenly took a step back. I felt that it might know that it was time to send A-Hua away. The little guy watched his friend being taken away quietly, whining silently, and then we wrapped Ah Ju with a net bag.

The two cats were immediately sent to the pet hospital. Ah Ju had no major health problems, but had mild tracheitis, which would be cured after a period of medication. The doctor said that trauma could be ruled out as the cause of Ahua's death, and it might be some kind of infectious disease.

Happily, the aunt decided to adopt Ah Ju! She took Ah Ju to meet Ah Hua for the last time. Before leaving, the little kid stared deeply at his little friend, as if he still hadn't accepted the fact that his friend was leaving, and wanted to get closer to him. I hope that the little one can have a new beginning in his future. This must be what Ahua hopes for!

In a world where stray cats have no choice when they are born, the little guy used his stubborn actions to prove to us the deep and heart-wrenching friendship that even death cannot separate!
