Cats and dogs have become mainstream pets raised by modern people, so there are always people who compare the two. In the minds of many people, dogs are more loyal than cats. In other words, dogs care more about their owners than cats. Cats always look so "heartless" and just treat their owner as their servant, commonly known as "tee shovelers"!

But is this really the case? Do cats really don’t care about the owner they spend with day and night?

Perhaps most cats are cold and arrogant, and they will not be as enthusiastic towards their owners as dogs, but this does not mean that they do not care about their owners.

Ms. Katie moved to her current home four years ago. One of her neighbors is a kind-looking old lady who also has a ten-year-old cat at home.

Three months after Katie moved to her new home, bad news came that her neighbor's grandmother died of illness. Her other neighbor was the old lady's good friend. Katie always thought she brought her late grandmother's cat back to her home because she often saw the cat appear nearby.

It turned out that for two years, this elderly old cat guarded the owner's door, looking for food alone. No matter the weather is bad, it has to sleep outside just to wait for its owner to come back.

But what it didn't know was that new people had already moved into the old lady's house. Katie felt heartbroken when she saw this scene, and she decided to help the loyal old cat.

Katie took this cat to heal her leg injury, but she still retained the cat's original name "Peske", but the cat doesn't seem to yearn for a new home and a new life, and there is always a sense of sadness in her eyes. Katie has never seen a cat with such a sad look.

Katie has two cats at home, and Pask hardly communicates with those two cats. He only likes to be alone and stay in an empty room. The only thing worth his adventure: to patrol the door of his former home to see if the old lady has come back.

Katie felt that the cat's sadness was already in her bones, but at least now she could help Pask reduce some of her loneliness.

Half a year has passed since adopting Pask. It is still alone every day, but it begins to react to Katie's touch. Its eyes are no longer so dim and cold, and it seems to have a little light.

Katie hopes that through her efforts, Paiske can realize that in addition to the old lady, there are people who love it, so that its lonely heart will become warm again!

Who says cats don't care about their owners? This old cat uses the little life left by it, waiting for its owner's return. Its heart seems to have been closed to humans, but Katie seems to have opened a gap for it. I hope that the cat Paiske can spend the remaining life with peace of mind!
