My life after picking up a cat as a pet in Dubai
I didn't dare to close my eyes that night, and my body was still itching unbearably. I stayed away from the cat and kept staring at it, remembering the day I met it, its sudden appearance, the strange elevator and lights, and inexplicably clinging to me...
Until after four o'clock in the morning, the phone finally rang. I finally breathed a sigh of relief and quickly read the news. All the friends in the group exploded and asked me what was wrong.
After staying up all night, I was exhausted from shock and fear, and felt like I had no strength all over my body. Finally, after hearing what I said about the situation, a doctor friend in the group told me what to do next.
So I followed her instructions, stayed away from the cat, stayed farther away from it, and stayed up until dawn. I rushed out of the house without hesitation and ran to the nearest supermarket or drugstore. I bought some groceries and hurried back home.
I opened the door and saw a pair of expectant and aggrieved amber eyes. I ignored them and walked into the bathroom coldly. Without delaying for a minute, I took out the sulfur soap I bought in the supermarket and took a bath. Sure enough, I felt much better immediately and applied medicine.
After taking a bath, I carried the cat to the balcony. I remembered what my doctor friend said, and angrily hit it on the head three times:
"The fleas will kill you."
I cleaned the house, packed away the things the cat had touched, and took them all to the dry cleaners. When I came back, I saw the maintenance man inspecting the elevator and lighting, so I went back and beat it again.
I feel that I am not worthy of being a shit shovel anymore. I look forward to picking up a blue-eyed beauty next time.
