Ivobi explains the shutdown room highlights: the club will not allow it to be sent, and a fine will be imposed
The Daily Mail reported that Ivobi confirmed that Fulham banned players from using specific social media features and threatened to impose a fine.
Ivobi previously often shared behind-the-scenes footage of the Fulham Club on his Snapchat account, including the pictures in the locker room. The player, who played for Everton from 2019 to 2023, continued this habit after transferring to London to join Fulham. The videos are so popular, with chorus clips with former teammate Lewin and scenes of Adama Traore wrestling with Calvin Bassi in the locker room.
But recently these videos suddenly disappeared, and fans speculated about the reason. The former Arsenal midfielder personally explained: "I wonder why I no longer share behind the scenes of the locker room? Because a member of the media team pointed out that the content I shot was not suitable."
"So the behind-the-scenes footage ended here. They also warned that if the filming continues, they might be fined. The club is trying to ban Snapchat in the locker room."
"I'm sorry that I can't share these anymore. I know everyone likes to see the behind-the-scenes status of my teammates. But I have to abide by the regulations."
Nottingham Forest star and Ivobi's national teammate Ola Eina is also keen on this. After the two teams met in February, the two had a fight on Snapchat. Iwobi revealed to The Athletic: "This has become a Snapchat derby, especially considering that Einer and I grew up together, and were on the same school and on the same street."
"I'm glad we won the double-killing forest at home and away. Einer sent me a message to let me not know my name. I replied 'Brother, don't worry, I will show mercy, but you have to let you know we won'."
