American businessman and owner of Lyon Botafogo, John Tuctor, recently interviewed talkSPORT, and he revealed his interest in the English Championship and Xie's club on Wednesday.

The business giant believes that the English club deserves to be in the higher level league. Tuctor said: "In my opinion, Xie Wednesday is a microcosm of the ills of English football. They should have had a chance to compete for the championship every year, but they never got there."

Xie Wednesday won the top league in England for the fourth time at the beginning of the last century. The club is currently banned from signings by 2027 for wage arrears.
