Stellar Lifestyle, a subsidiary of SMRT, announced on Monday (May 26) that it will launch the third advertising technology accelerator program Stellarate. The program aims to discover technological creativity, reimagine the advertising, retail and catering concepts of subway stations, and attract passengers with a new look through technology.

This year, four award-winning startups have the opportunity to receive a total of RMB 130,000 from JR East and have the opportunity to experiment with innovative concepts in the Japan transportation retail market and the SMRT subway merchant ecosystem.

Plan is aimed at global companies and startups with total revenue of at least 120,000 yuan and paid-up capital of at least 50,000 yuan as of 2024. Interested participants can register from May 26 to June 30.

This year's focus is on finding solutions that effectively promote customer conversion rates through outdoor advertising technology, help subway merchants and advertisers improve sales and operational productivity, and make it easier for passengers to interact with merchants and brands on subway networks.

SMRT's advertising technology accelerator plan this year focuses on exploring intelligent and feasible solutions for outdoor advertising creativity. The winning plan can receive a total allowance of 130,000 yuan and the opportunity to enter the Japanese market.
