"The Sun" reports that former Crystal Palace owner John Turkto is interested in buying Sheffield Wednesday.

Sheffield Wednesday has been plagued by financial difficulties under the control of current owner Chasiri. The team has encountered transfer bans many times and player wages have been owed many times, which may lead to the English Football League deducting points from the club.

The 60-year-old American businessman Tecto has confirmed that he is in negotiations to acquire the club. Tecto is no stranger to English football. He previously owned shares in Crystal Palace. Tekotto revealed that he has held talks with Chasiri, who is said to be open to selling the club.

Tecto said on a podcast: "I don't want to make any controversial remarks to the fans, but the owner - at least based on my contact - has been very open to suggestions for sale."

"I have had some communication with him, including direct communication. I know that he cares about the club very much, even though it may not be visible on the surface. The actual situation is indeed very complicated, Sheffield Wednesday It's not that I don't want to take over tomorrow, but they are in a very difficult situation. There are many issues that need to be negotiated with the owner, and there are a lot of matters to be resolved in the league, and the time left for us to deal with is very limited. About half to two-thirds of the players in this team are under the age of 21. By the time we can officially intervene, it is not too late."
