The Sun reported that an iconic object at the old Wembley Stadium, once located at the base of the flagpole on the top of the East Tower, is now placed in Brent River Park a mile away from the new Stadium.

This concrete block is 1.5 meters high and weighs four tons. It looks like a FA Cup trophy. It has witnessed the glory of the 1923 "Blue Horse Final" and the 1966 World Cup in England.

Although there is a silver plaque next to it that explains its origin, passers-by almost never pay attention. The "Football House" was closed after England lost 0-1 to Germany on October 7, 2000, and was completely demolished in 2003. Other parts of the old court have also been scattered everywhere. The flagpole inserted on the base, together with its crown top, is now in Sir William McCalping's personal estate. What is even more sad is that after being acquired by the foundation, those iconic royal gates were eventually sold to a Chilean businessman for £5,875.
