South Korean media Newsis reported that the two people suspected of extorting Son Heung-min yesterday were under pre-arrest interrogation (substantive review of the arrest warrant).

South Korean media said that the presiding judge issued an arrest warrant to Liang and Long on the grounds of worrying that the suspect would destroy evidence and escape.

Previously, Liang was accused of sending a photo of the fetal ultrasound that claimed to be pregnant to Son Heung-min in June last year and threatening to make the news public, thus extorting 300 million won (about 1.54 million yuan). In March this year, Long asked Son Heung-min to pay 70 million won (about 360,000 yuan) on the grounds of "exposing this matter to the media", but failed in the end. Son Heung-min called the police.

After detaining two people, the police searched their residence and seized their mobile phones and related materials.

At 14:50 p.m. yesterday, Liang was asked whether he was conspiring to blackmail Son Heung-min, but she said she did not. She did not answer any questions asked about Son Heung-min, whether he admitted the charges, and whether he still claimed to be pregnant.

40 minutes later, when Liang was asked about related topics after being interrogated and whether Sun Xingmin's father had asked her to have an abortion, Liang repeatedly replied sorry.

Long was in a black sportswear and a black hat for interrogation. When asked why he asked for an additional 70 million won, what he had to say to Son Heung-min's father, whether the ultrasonic photos were tampered with, and whether the two colluded with threats, Long did not answer.
