On July 16, Liverpool will usher in a friendly match with AC Milan in Hong Kong, China. Before the game, goalkeeper Woodman, who joined the free transfer this summer, was interviewed by Liverpool's official website.
Woodman said: "It's great. I think we've worked very well, especially in Hong Kong, China. The training was hard, we urged each other, and I think that each other was at their best."
"Working with Alison is for me to work with one of the best goalkeepers in the world, and I'm trying to learn the strengths from his game and integrate into my game. The same goes for Mama Dashvili, they are all world-class goalkeepers, top goalkeepers, and it's a joy to work with them every day."
"First of all, you walk into this full house It is a stadium for world-class players, and you will find that they are all good people, ordinary people. "
"I'm glad to meet everyone on this level, and then obviously you will step on the training ground, participate in the game, see their strength, see the standards here."
" For me personally, the (target) is to reach that level as soon as possible and help the team wherever I can."
Young goalkeepers Armin Page and Cornell Miciuer also participated in the pre-season tour of Liverpool, and Woodman is happy to take on the responsibility of imparting his knowledge and experience.
Woodman said: "100%. Where I can share my experience, I played 300 adult team games, a lot of them in the Championship, and I believe those guys will try to go out and play, touring."
"So I just share experiences as much as I can and help young players. When I was young, I got help from Kruel and Robert Elliott in Newcastle, and they helped me a lot when I was young, and I think it's my turn to share experiences and help them."
Woodman joined Liverpool after his contract with Preston expired, and he played 138 times in his three-year period.
"Obviously, it was incredible for me to sign with this club."
"The transfer process was going smoothly, everyone in the club made me feel welcome, my teammates were great, it was great to be out for the tour and meet everyone."
"I was on vacation with my family, thinking about my choice, and then I received news from Richard Hughes, and things started there. It was going very fast and I was ecstatic."
"Signing with the club was a wonderful time for me, to share that moment (to) with my wife and daughter there, and then I quickly went to the AXA Training Center and met everyone quickly."
